Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

Ann Arbor is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Ann Arbor follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. Service and location are good; but the quality of the room was awful. Pillows were lumpy and felt like they had pellets in it; and the rooms were not clean (dusty, even after day 2) and I found a half eaten cookies that didn’t belong to us, under the bed (when I went to pick up something that fell). Sorry to say it wasn’t a great stay :(

Spacious and comfortable room. There is decent size outdoor pool and gym. Bar attendant was friendly and it was open till 11p. There is a Marriott club with Starbucks coffee. 2 elevators could be faster. Lots of parking space. About 25 min drive to airport. Highly recommend this hotel for business and leisure.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our team visited the Sheraton while supporting the ASXL Rare Research Endowment event, providing biospecimen collection services for research participants. The hotel was an excellent venue for a large event of this nature. The property was clean, well maintained, and easy to navigate throughout the conference. The staff we encountered were welcoming, professional, and very accommodating, helping create a positive experience for both attendees and event staff. The conference ran smoothly, and the Sheraton provided a comfortable and organized environment for everyone involved. We appreciate the hospitality and look forward to returning for future research and healthcare events.

Edit: On July 22, they reinstated my reservation. The stay was nice. I can't give 5 stars due to the problem, but we liked the stay. Edit: as of July 15th, no response to my email. I understand there is probably nothing they can do, but they did say they were helping affected guests. I booked a room here for the Morgan Wallen concert weekend. I booked on October 30, 2025. On July 13, 2026 at 5 am I received the following email canceling my reservation. The concert is in 11 days. I emailed asking for any recommendations for alternative lodgings, per their email, and have not heard back yet. Here is the email. I imagine they canceled my room, with a good rate booked, for other guests who will pay more. Dear Valued Guest. I am writing to sincerely apologize regarding your upcoming reservation at our hotel. Due to an unforeseen system error, we have identified that we are unable to honor your reservation as originally confirmed. We understand that your stay coincides with a highly anticipated concert weekend and recognize that accommodations in the area may be limited. We deeply regret both the inconvenience and disappointment this may cause. Please know that this situation is n
